Welcome to the Norfolk County Retirement System!

My name is Joseph Connolly, and as Treasurer of Norfolk County, I have the great privilege of serving as the Chairperson of the Norfolk County Retirement Board ("NCRS").

In a continuing effort to provide exceptional service, NCRS is updating and redesigning this website to provide the current advancements technology has to offer. Soon this website will be even easier to navigate, will provide more up-to-date retirement related information and a secure member login feature that links directly to our current pension software. In the interim, members, retirees and beneficiaries can use this website to obtain information about their retirement plan and benefits. As awalys, you should feel free to contact the retirement office at 781-821-0664 for specific questions.

About NCRS

Organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts effective January 1, 1937, the Retirement System has over 9500 active and retired members from forty governmental units throughout Norfolk County.  With approximately $600 million in assets, it is one of the largest public retirement systems in the State of Massachusetts.

The Retirement System is governed by a five member retirement board, and is subject to the provisions of Chapter 32 of the Massachusetts General Laws, which provides for uniform benefits, uniform contribution requirements, and a uniform accounting and fund structure for all retirement systems. All public retirement systems in Massachusetts are overseen by the Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission ("PERAC"), which was created in 1996.
