The Norfolk County Retirement Board is chaired by Joseph Connolly, Treasurer of Norfolk County. Also serving on the Board are:
Josephine Shea, a retired member who served as Special Sheriff and Chief Financial Officer for the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office. Josephine is elected by the members of the Norfolk County Retirement System and serves a three-year term.
Edwin Little, a retired Town of Sharon Fire Lieutenant. Ed is elected by the members of the Norfolk County Retirement System and serves a three-year term.
Thomas Rorrie, the Treasurer of the Town of Stoughton, is elected to the Board by the treasurers of the governmental units of Norfolk County.
Paul Connors, Executive Secretary of the Town of Randolph, serves on the Retirement Board as the representative of the County Comissioners.
The Retirement Board is responsible for the oversight of the Retirement System. It makes determinations on membership enrollments, group classifications of members, buybacks of creditable service, superannuation retirements, disability retirements, and investment of the System’s assets.
The meetings of the Retirement Board are typically held on the last Wednesday of the month at the Retirement System office, 480 Neponset Street, Canton, Massachusetts. Meetings begin at 8:30 a.m.
